Baby Animal Eyes

I LOVE the new baby animal designs, their proportions, sounds and textures are SO cute. However I'm a bit on the fence on the dot eyes. They're very cute on the chick, but I'm not sure if I like them on the other animals, some of them come across more like a soulless stare because they're not proportional to the heads and are too close together (compare this to the axolotl, who has charming dot eyes that are farther apart). I think 4-pixel square eyes could be more appropriate for the mammalian babies, or possibly 2-pixel-tall eyes like the rabbits have. Heck, even the 2-pixel-wide eyes of the adults would look cute on the tinier bodies!

    We need eye consistency between baby and parent animals

    Two-pixel eyes are infinitely better. Cuter, more classic, more consistent, and more vibrant. The chick is the only perfect one with 1-point eyes.

    Chick eyes are also consistent with their adult variants (maybe that's why they don't look out of place to me)

    Yeah, the old babies are iconic, these new ones depersonify them, gives us a soulless "idendity" in their place. They also make them look too childish, out of place, I don't think they retained the minecraft feeling they had, the old ones had the perfect balance to appeal both to adults and kids.
