The Freeze | An Ice Elemental, Potions of Stasis

This frosty mob launches chilling Ice Charges and halts foes in their tracks with a momentarily immobilising dash-attack: Flash Freeze. Flash-freezing briefly holds the affected entity in cryo-stasis; whilst an entity is flash-frozen, the damage of subsequent attacks is negated; a flash-frozen entity, exposed to lava, is instantly thawed, with a buffer against burning.

The Freeze drops Freeze Rods, yielding Freeze Powder, used to brew Potions of Stasis that grant flash-freezing of foes, on melee contact. The impact of Freezing and Flash Freezing, including in Powdered Snow, could be reduced with an enchantment of Ice Protection, or negated with a Potion of Ice Resistance, brewed from the drop of a prospective Slush Slime. The Freeze could be native to an ice cavern, a new structure, or an alternate dimension.
