Dragonstone | Incubate and Respawn the Ender Hatchling

With Crying Obsidian, Glowstone, and an End Crystal, craft an incubation cradle for the Dragon Egg that doubles as a respawn anchor, powered by End Crystals, for the Ender Hatchling, Minecraft's proposed first reviveable companion mob.

The Ender Hatchling follows the player on foot and by wing, attacks hostile mobs with melee strikes and purple Endfire, and scares away Baby Zombies. The Ender Hatchling freely roams near the player, and, when idle, curls up to sleep. The Hatchling is sustained by raw or cooked meat, and plays hide and seek if fed Chorus Fruit.

The adorable Ender Hatchling grows into the formidable Ender Wyrmling, a nimble young dragon, comparable in stature to existing mounts, that can roam, follow, or stand guard. The Ender Wyrmling fiercely defends its domain, taking the fight to the Phantoms, bathing the undead in Endfire, and sending Creepers scurrying. The Wyrmling offers an airborne battle mount for two, raining Endfire on raiding Illagers. High blast and fire resistance, as well as retracting wings, equip the Ender Wyrmling to safely enter portals and swiftly traverse over land, lake, and void, on interdimensional excursions.

Golden Chorus Fruit, made with gold nuggets, could both heal the Ender Wyrmling, and grant a brief spurt of teleport-dashing.
