Hello.
In my idea that we should experience temperature variations in vanilla, Mojang could add a system of underwear and jewelry.
Underwear would provide bonuses to resistance against extreme heat, like in the desert biome, or the biting cold of the Antarctic biome (that's what I call it XD). Since we have items that customize the appearance of armor, I think it would be underwear. Fur for resistance to the cold and silk for extreme heat.
And to get fur underwear, certain mobs would have to drop fur when killed. To get silk (or cotton), you'd have to be able to raise silkworms (or grow cotton through farming).
And regarding the usefulness of jewelry, imagine having stat bonuses depending on the jewelry you're wearing. And be careful! To get jewelry, you need gold and gemstones... but you also need molds! Molds that can only be obtained by farming dungeons and special structures. Or, by buying them from the jeweler, a new type of villager with their own profession block to add.
So? What do you think? Feel free to share your ideas for improving this suggestion. ^^Please sign in to leave a comment.
