Allow placing any item in the off-hand in Minecraft Bedrock

Currently in Minecraft Bedrock Edition, the off-hand is very limited and only supports a few items like shields and maps. This makes gameplay less flexible compared to Java Edition.

I suggest allowing players to place any item in the off-hand, such as tools, food, blocks, torches, weapons, and custom items. This would improve convenience and open up new gameplay possibilities:

• Holding a torch or blocks while mining

• Using food or potions in the off-hand

• Better combat and building flow

• Parity with Java Edition mechanics

This feature would be especially useful for mobile and controller players and would not break game balance if properly implemented.

  why it's not in the game yet? it's so easy to add, why mojang doesn't do so? i totaly agree with your idea, it should be taken forward

  I understand why not already, it's because the console edition players have limited buttons. As it is they can't pick lock because majang already mapped all of the buttons to other actions.

  I don't even care about the functionality. Just being able to hold tools in the offhand would make it so much easier to mend them.

  Please, please, please bring Off-Hand feature to Minecraft Bedrock Edition! It's a highly requested feature and would greatly enhance the gameplay experience. We really need it!
