Knife/Dagger

Dear: Mojang. After your recent Mounts of Mayhem update with the spears I thought what if they added a dagger. Spears are long and daggers are short, less expensive swords. The crafting recipe would be like a sword but instead of two of your given material on top just one would be enough. Now I'm not saying they would be efficient but they would be pretty cool to add and maybe you could find a way to make it cool like how you gave the thrust to the spears. Here are some ideas of mine first maybe a speed boost in combat when holding it, second possibly an assassin poof like how you have the ender pearl teleport you to where you throw it it would teleport you to where your looking except it has a cooldown and it has a short distance it would be mainly for combat, and finally with loyalty it could be like a trident aka throwing dagger. I'm not saying you have to do all of these just one would suffice. Now I do hope you take my idea into consideration for the future. Sincerely: BahjaBlastJr.
