Minecraft has a lot of blocks, but what if they had more? Why do we need them? Please don't just add lists of things - these will be marked as spam and removed! Also, no furniture, guns, or vertical/"sideways"/"upright"/"standing" slabs (yes, we see you).

Quicksand and Drying mobs

When the desert gets updated with the Biome vote content from 2018, it should additionally bring in quicksand.

Quicksand would act like powdered snow, sinking players who walk on it without leather boots. when inside, it would deal the same damage as being in a block would.

it could also be used to dry out certain mobs, converting drowned into zombies, zombies into husks, and skeletons into parched.

this would let players build secret traps or entrances like they would with powder snow but in warmer climates, since snow would be more obvious there. 

It would have 2 forms, a normal quicksand and a red quicksand, for both types of deserts. Soul quicksand could also be added, to make traveling the nether more risky without the right gear.
