PS5 players on Minecraft Bedrock currently have no simple or affordable way to use custom mods. The only working method is to buy the mobile version of Minecraft, download mods there, and transfer them through a Realm. Additionally, services like BedrockConnect, which are often required to add custom servers or content, also cost money.
This makes using mods on PS5 unnecessarily complicated and expensive for players who already own the game on console.
Minecraft could improve this by simplifying BedrockConnect or adding built-in support for custom content on PS5, or by creating an official Minecraft app or system where players can download mods and connect them directly to their PS5 or Realms without extra costs.
Making custom mods easier and cheaper to access on console would greatly improve the Bedrock experience and allow PS5 players the same creative freedom as other platforms.
