Bedrock Edition currently lacks several essential technical and control features that are available in Java Edition, creating a significant gap for advanced players, map makers, educators, and server administrators.
Please consider adding optional Java Edition–style features to Bedrock Edition, such as:
- A debug screen similar to Java Edition’s F3 (chunk boundaries, performance graphs, and detailed world information)
- A Java Edition–compatible command mode or expanded support for Java command syntax
- A fully functional off-hand system that allows players to hold and use items freely, similar to Java Edition
These features are not cheats or balance-breaking changes, but core tools and controls that support technical gameplay, content creation, and education.
Making them optional would ensure casual players and cross-platform users are unaffected, while greatly improving parity, accessibility, and long-term maintainability between editions.
