Dear Microsoft/Mojang Support Team,
I am a Minecraft creator working on an experimental behavior pack that adds a personality-driven AI system to a custom entity. The system uses in-game scripting and JSON components to simulate conversational behavior, including a small FAQ-based response module. It does not access external servers, collect data, or modify the game outside normal add-on capabilities.
Before I continue development and testing, I would like to confirm that this type of behavior pack is safe to use on my own device and does not violate any Minecraft or Microsoft policies. The AI logic is entirely local and relies only on the official Script API and command blocks.
My goal is to experiment with entity behavior and interactive NPC design while staying fully within the allowed boundaries of Minecraft’s add-on system.
Could you please confirm whether this type of experimental behavior pack is permitted and safe to test locally?
Thank you for your time and assistance.
