Hello, good afternoon. I recently had the idea of making weapons have a larger and more progressive power increase. The idea is, since nobody uses wooden pickaxes, wooden swords, or any items from the wood, stone, and copper levels anymore, why not add a mechanic to evolve these items? Similarly, with netherite items obtained at the smithing table, why not get upgrades for them? If you have a wooden pickaxe, put it on the smithing table with stone and you get a stone pickaxe, and so on until you reach the most powerful one again: netherite. What's the point of this? By progressively evolving your items with this mechanic, the items reset their enchantment capacity, allowing you to have a greater number of enchantments and, if you deem it appropriate, perhaps even increased damage. Please sign in to leave a comment.
