Bedrock realms horse and boat mounts are broken after new update

Realms are now broken for me on switch. Exploring and filling out new maps is one of my favorite activities in minecraft and now that's virtually impossible with the new Mounts of Mayhem update. Boats and horses are extremely laggy and unusable. I've bought this game multiple times on different platforms and I have a realms subscription, which is effectively unplayable...this needs to be fixed.

    I am upvoting every post that talks about this. We need to make noise until Mojang listens, we can’t let them sweep this under the rug

    I'm on Xbox and the boats are now so laggy & choppy for me that they've become unusable. Even more so on realms. I have to swim everywhere since for some reason swimming doesn't cause the same issue - nor does flying - so it's clearly an issue with the boat somehow and not the Xbox itself. It renders in fast enough for flying, but trying to use a boat causes such an awful choppy frame rate since the update that it gives me a migraine. Such a shame as boat travel was my main mode of transport in many of my worlds / realms so every location has a dock.

    This also affects me on the Switch 1. Boats are worthless now. Swimming is fine oddly enough. It was definitely fine before the last update. Nonsense.

    It’s not even just Realms. I tried using a boat on my single player world and the same lag persists. It’s super frustrating.

    Yes, the lagginess/choppiness with trying to use boats and horses has become a huge problem on our Realm

    Absolutely unplayable.

    Boats are unusable and it makes ocean travel require swimming instead of boating... It's awful.

    It is currently February 18th 2026 at 8:04 p.m. eastern time. Currently trying to play Minecraft bedrock on Xbox One X on the current version and my boats will literally not move anywhere. I am playing in an offline completely vanilla single player world and as soon as I try to jump in a boat I cannot move in any direction. Every now and then it will twitch slightly but zero movement whatsoever.

    Still haven't been able to play any Mounts of Mayhem content because all mounts are still horrifically broken 3 months later.

    Can we please at least get some acknowledgement about the issue?

    It's February 21 2026 and this is a huge issue! I spent months building ice road infrastructure and ocean ways for my boats and now my realm is completely unplayable. I pay every month and the users in my realm are dropping out because mounts are unplayable. You actually get a headache and can't visually focus after getting into a boat! This is broken!! Just remove the update all together if you have to, it was better before.

    And the bug still exists! Boo! Boats and horses still completely unplayable in bedrock v26.2! 🤬🤬🤬

    Hey MS / Mojang .. you should **really** read that post about people dropping out of your Realms service over this.  "Working as intended" is now identical to "Dropping Realms $ubscriptions because of this."

    Just a thought about the Company's Bottom Line here:  **Fix this to keep people paying you money!!**

    I'm canceling my realms subscription today. The game has been unplayable to me for months now.

    I will never buy realms again. I will simply host a server on my LAN like I used to back in the old days. At least then I could mod to fix the problem myself 🙄
