The Kinetic Automator: New Blocks for Modular Farming

Currently, many Survival farms require the player to stand still for hours (AFK) to interact with the world, which takes away from the spirit of exploration. I propose a set of "Kinetic" Redstone components—the Mechanical Drill and the Automated Crop Farmer—designed to bridge the gap between manual labor and full-scale automation. These blocks would allow players to build complex, logic-driven factories that work while they are away exploring or adventuring. The drill mines any block in front of it and puts the block in a barrel, chest, hopper, copper chest, or other storage system beside it! The Automated Crop Farmer is a block with a farmer hat that can collect crops adjacent to it and put them in a storage system also adjacent to it. This is a really good way to farm crops.
