I'm requesting a survival mode game rule that makes killing Undead mobs more challenging, increasing the damage type requirements.
Physical damage types like fists and swords, can't kill them only knock them back, along with the other types of damage like from arrows, they don't take any damage from cactus just knockback, also drip stone, suffocation, drowning, powdered snow, and fall damage, and even other mobs can't damage undead with physical damage only.
They can only be killed by weapons enchanted with smite or fire aspect or flame.
Undead are already healed by the harming effect and they can be killed with instant healing effect like from tipped arrows.
Also Undead can still die when they burn in direct sunlight unless they're wearing a helmet.
Of course they can be killed by lava and fire and soulfire, as well as campfires and magma blocks, explosions, and the void.
also ghast fireballs, blazes, dragon's breath.
Part of the challenge is that undead in deserts like husks don't burn in sunlight, which makes deserts way more challenging because they have to use fire to kill them early game.
Also Wither skeletons and Zombified piglins don't burn from fire so in order to kill them you need to have Smite or healing potions which gives people a reason to use them when they go to the nether making nether fortresses way more challenging.
