Interconnected Oceans for Better Travel

It bothers me that the salt lake I always visit isn’t connected to any warm oceans, which means there are no coral reefs where a Coral Zombie Nautilus could spawn. I want the coral variant to be alongside my regular nautilus and zombie nautilus, but transporting the coral variant across huge stretches of land is ridiculous and tedious.

The world generation should have a better balance between land and ocean, with more ocean channels cutting through continents or fewer giant landmasses blocking movement entirely. Using the real life ratio of about 70% water and 30% land would be a good precedent
