Minecraft has a lot of blocks, but what if they had more? Why do we need them? Please don't just add lists of things - these will be marked as spam and removed! Also, no furniture, guns, or vertical/"sideways"/"upright"/"standing" slabs (yes, we see you).

Polished Sandstone

Just a small idea to add a block similar to Polished Andesite, Diorite, and Granite, and their stairs and slabs, to add "Polished Sandstone" so there's another tile of a different color for floors, walls and ceilings for people to make use of a tile-type block.

    a block like that already exists, its just called smooth sandstone instead

    The Smooth Sandstone block only has that texture on the sides, not on the top or bottom.

    but I doubt minecraft is going to find a good place to fit a block like that in an update- and make it make sense. yno, like how everything added always has something to do with the name of the update. If any blocks get added in the end update, itll probably be like a special kind of endstone or something nothing more.
    Its kinda irritating not gonna lie.
    I dont work for minecraft, however I am a programmer, so I understand some of this. However, I do believe that there is nothing wrong with straying from the theme-I do it all the time. But it is also frustrating when you give ppl what they want in a game or mod, and it may or may not be directly related, but one person is happy- the other person is hating on you bc its 'not related to the update' but thats another topic-for another time. I do agree with you, but I am saying 'dont get ur hopes up' bc I dont know if it will actually happen

    maybe you can use maps and item frames to help, however that is kinda tedious
