Hello! I'm Mei, I was playing, when I bumped in a golem iron, I thought for while and I think Iron Golems should have more interactions with players, especially because they are such an iconic part of villages and protection. Right now they feel a bit empty, and giving them more life would make Minecraft feel richer and more immersive.
My idea is to add a trust and interaction system for Iron Golems:
Village golems would become friendly to players who have high reputation in that village. They could react to the player, protect the player from mobs if the player is trusted, and not turn hostile from small accidental hits.
Player-built golems would automatically trust the player who created them. They would protect you if you get attacked, follow you if commanded, or stay to guard a specific area.
Occasionally, trusted golems could offer a poppy to the player, similar to how they do to baby villagers, as a symbol of friendship.
Players could heal them with iron ingots and maybe customize passive behaviors (stay, patrol, follow).
This would make Iron Golems feel more alive and make villages feel like real communities where you can earn trust. It adds emotional value, better gameplay, and doesn’t break game balance.
Thank you for reading I really hope you consider this feature, if not, it's okay, the game will be awesome anyways!
