Remove flint or give it more crafting uses, and gravel discussion

Flint is actually the most useless item in the game as it stands. (Further explanation below)

The  flint and steel craft is useless because you can light nether portals without any fire charges or flint and steel; and you can find flint and steel in ruined portal chests anyway, the fletching table craft is useless because fletching tables naturally generate in certain types of villages anyway, and the arrow craft is useless because you can just get them from trading with fletchers.

Onto the topic of gravel, I'm so fed up with trying to mine in the depths of the nether for Ancient Debris and every 5 or ten blocks i mine in any direction, gravel is falling on my head. I think gravel should not generate anywhere in the overworld, except above Y 0 and at the bottom of oceans/river biomes, and should be removed from the nether entirely. It's the most useless and annoying block to deal with, especially in the nether. Additionally, my point about the flint and steel also somewhat applies here; you dont need all that gravel besides concrete, and you're in the nether, meaning you have a flint and steel to get out if you need to.
