Gold as a decorative item

I feel like gold is really bad for equipment and I’m sure everyone agrees, we should make it a more decorative block like copper and maybe extend it to iron, diamonds or even netherite, I’d love to see this happen, thanks mojang

    Gold is only bad because of its durability and cost in xp. It would be cool to see some decorative uses for gold and iron tho. Maybe combining gold with copper to make a decorative version of gold or combining copper decorative blocks with gold since in real life gold is too soft so people usually used something similar or just combined copper and gold to make something that looks like gold but is stronger. Diamond and Netherite I think it's too much and not a good idea.

    I agree with the previois comment. Especially since gold is only bad for its durability. Minecraft decided to make it the strength of a toothpick because gold is technically a soft metal, but they made it unrealisticly soft. They should have made it a little stronger than stone but weaker than iron. But theu didnt. Either way it does suck. Especially since its pretty, and the fact that the gold pick is actually the fastest one (yes, faster than netherite) But it also dies the fastest 😂😭😂
