Snow update? Pretty Please?

I feel like the snow biomes are long due for an update. With more things to do in the snow biomes like structures, ice themed items and maybe penguins? Maybe you can use icicles as an alternative (and temporary) sword or arrows if you need to defend yourself and you don't have a sword or arrows. Maybe you can tame penguins with salmon/cod so they dice down and bring you something from the ocean in return? Maybe you can even craft boots to walk across the ice easier or ice skates if you want less ice friction and to get critical hits on enemies while on ice? Oh and maybe little lights to dress up a Christmas tree for fun? Just throwing out ideas but overall, I love snow and the snow biomes need an update so bad!
