Ok, I know when everyone hears "Minecraft 2" they think about some kind of AAA game with crazy graphics and tons and tons of new features that takes up 90 gigabytes on your machine. While that would be fun to mess around with, that's not what I'm talking about. Minecraft has been around for almost twenty years now, and it has proven itself to be one of the giants when it comes to games. I feel like for Minecraft to move forward in its full potential, a sequel might be necessary. Now, I'm not saying we need to "modernize" the game just because it's old. But there are some things that are just, like, seriously? I'm not hating on the game, to this day it is one of my favorites, but Minecraft cannot meet its full potential if it stays the way it is now, split into to similar yet vastly different versions - Java and Bedrock - held back by near decades-old spaghetti code. They're developing two games at once, while facing the obstacles that come with the game's clunky code. I believe they should make a new Minecraft to move forward with, combining the best of both versions, that can run on all systems, more stylistically similar to Java, optimized for consoles as well, so that everyone's happy. They don't even need to roll out tons of new features with this new version, maybe just fill in some of the "holes," things that should already be in the game by now, for example calcite bricks or a use for the fletching table. Sorry, I really pushed the character limit with this one. Thx
