Parity means making features behave consistently across different Minecraft editions, most commonly between Minecraft: Java Edition and Minecraft: Bedrock Edition. Use this category to discuss released features that exist in both versions of the game but work differently. Please note that bugs are not parity issues and should be reported separately.

Basically to summarize I don't mean we need a drastically different sequel with tons of flashy features and overhauls, I'm saying a new streamline version of the game that fixes all the simpler problems of the current 2 versions would make Minecraft much more pleasant for players and much easier for the devs to work on moving forward, not having to develop 2 games at once while dealing with the game's unconventional, messy code.

So more than a sequel it's just a remake to combine java a bedrock in a single version, update the game to a little more modern standards and make small changes and additions that should be in the game already but aren't or can't be? Pretty good idea.

Should probably be free if you already have bought Minecraft so you can choose to play Bedrock, Java or this new version in the Launcher. A lot of the fandom could be mad tho since their game wouldn't update anymore and probably some things of this new minecraft could be hated by the community... It's something that has to be done carefully but could fix most problems with the current minecraft.
