When playing Minecraft, I’ve noticed a frustrating difference between Java Edition and Bedrock Edition: in Java, when you eat food while low on health, health regenerates quickly and smoothly — but in Bedrock the same action heals you much more slowly. This slow regeneration makes survival, combat, and exploration feel harsher on Bedrock. I believe this isn’t due to device limitations: Bedrock could easily adopt the same regeneration-and-saturation logic as Java with a small change in the code. Adjusting this mechanic to match Java would make gameplay much fairer, more balanced across editions, and overall more enjoyable without affecting performance or compatibility.
