We love the bucket, its limitations make sense (i.e. filled buckets are non-stackable) however late game dealing with liquid gets tiresome even with sponges on hand. If we could stack liquids that would be incredibly useful, but liquids in game are also an important barrier and danger SO:
- it shouldn't be made too easy
- it should be made too accessible
- the bucket should retain some use via dispensers imo
Shulker Barrel: Variant Shulker Box geared for storing liquid.
- Like a bundle would store 64 Liquid Blocks
- Unlike a bundle, this could only be one liquid
- Functions like both a filled and unfilled bucket depending on block placement target

Shulker Shells:
- Post-nether, lava should stay dangerous!
- Water and Lava can exist in the End
Sponge:
- It adds to the expense to clear liquid- something that is currently very difficult and
- this gives another reason to venture to Ocean Monuments
- You will need to clear at least one Ocean Monument without this item's aid to craft it
