Switch split screen sides

While in split screen mode with the current Minecraft version, you cannot switch sides or choose which half of the screen your game will play on. When I am playing as FIRST PERSON, and load up a world in horizontal split screen, I will always be playing on top screen. I would like the option to be on bottom screen, even if I am first player. Also.. for vertical split screen as well. As first player, I am always on the left side of the screen. But my seating is not set up to comfortably accommodate these permanent screen positions. I feel as though it would be beneficial if Minecraft added the option in settings to switch the sides for split screen. Sometimes I, as first player, would like to be on the bottom too.
