Bring Back Minecraft: Story Mode (Remaster or Re-Release)

Minecraft: Story Mode was an important part of many players’ childhoods, and today it’s completely unavailable. With the revival of interest in the Minecraft universe (especially after the movie), this is the perfect time to bring it back.

I’m not asking for a full new season — even a remaster, re-release, or restored edition would be enough. The original game already has strong storytelling, great characters, and a fun action system that fits Minecraft perfectly.

Many rights from the old Telltale version are no longer in use, and Minecraft is already a Microsoft IP. This makes a re-release or remake technically possible without needing the original studio.

Bringing Story Mode back would:

Restore a beloved part of Minecraft history
Strengthen community trust after recent criticism
Appeal to new players discovering Minecraft through the movie
Give nostalgic players access to a game they can’t legally buy anymore
Add a story-focused experience that complements the sandbox version

Even a Minecraft Story Mode: Remastered (updated engine, improved visuals, restored episodes) would be hugely appreciated and highly successful.

Please consider bringing this important part of Minecraft back to the community.

Being someone who only found out about Minecraft Story Mode's existence after it was no longer on sale, it has been a thing I wish I tried. (Unfortunately, I wasn't into Minecraft enough at the time to know of any spin-off games). A re-release would be a great thing for Mojang and Telltale Games to do.

(Btw, you can still legally buy physical copies of Minecraft Story Mode. They're really expensive, though.)
