Minecraft Creaking/Sniffer Idea

Hello! I’ve been playing Minecraft since it first released back when I was in elementary school—across Pocket Edition, console, and now PC/Java—and I still play regularly to this day. I wanted to share a quick idea that I think could add a really fun and useful feature to the game.

Idea 1: Torched Heart Material
By combining a Creaking Heart with a Torchflower and Resin, players could craft a new material called Torched Heart. This material could then be used for armor trimming, allowing the trimmed armor to emit a small light source—something similar in brightness to a Redstone torch.

I think this would give players a stronger incentive to pursue the Sniffer and its related items, while also offering a subtle but meaningful quality-of-life improvement for late-game gameplay. It wouldn’t be overpowered, but it would make exploring more convenient without forcing players to always carry torches.
