In Minecraft Bedrock, the world editing options are very different from Java Edition. In Bedrock Edition you can change the difficulty, modify game rules, and edit multiplayer and experimental settings. However, in Java Edition, after creating a world, the “Edit” menu only allows you to change the name, icon, optimize the world, or open its folder. When it comes to game rules and multiplayer settings, everything has to be done using commands, and experimental features cannot be enabled at all after the world is created.
It would be very helpful if players could edit worlds the same way as in Bedrock Edition. So instead of memorizing every command to change a gamer ule, you could simply open the “Edit” menu and have everything there. Changing the world name, changing and locking the difficulty, optimization, experimental options that can be enabled even after the world is created, access to the world folder, game rules, data packs, and multiplayer settings. Additionally, I believe world editing should also be available while playing in that world. The difficulty button should be replaced with an “Edit World” button. Of course, while playing, certain options such as renaming the world would not be available.
This feature would make world editing easier in Java Edition, because it would not require memorizing game rule names and would allow enabling experimental options for already created worlds without any file editing in world folder.
