Without a doubt, the ambient music in Minecraft is a massive part of the game. For a lot of people, they feel nostalgic, reminding you of the times you were just a kid playing on your parents Xbox in the living room, getting the daylights scared out of you because you just found out what a magma cube is and refusing to touch the nether again for another 2 months after. What, just me?
With how much these ambient tracks are held up as some of the greatest music pieces in all of gaming, it really is a shame that they seem to play so few and far between. Of course, you could just add a setting to adjust frequency, but I have a more intuitive idea.
The disc burner is a craftable block, taking a jukebox, two note blocks on either side, and 1 iron ingot on top. Of course, the disc burner isn't really all that useful on it's own. But it's whole design is, instead of playing music discs, it overwrites them. Ever keep finding the same music disc? I know I have about 5 copies of 13 sitting in storage. Well, the disc burner takes care of the excess for you. Once you place a disc into it (any disc will do. Except 11. I mean, look at it.) it begins listening for ambient music. Once a track begins, that's when the magic happens. It begins to convert the disc inside to an ambient music disc, and as soon as it's done you have your very own copy of Warmth, or maybe Calm, or Wet Hands, any track you come across, free for you to put in a jukebox and play whenever you like!
