The light level of a copper bulb diminishing as it oxidizes is a cool mechanic, however, there should be some level of control for the brightness level between the oxidized stages. I personally prefer the look and vibe of the green oxidized copper blocks over the normal bright orange copper blocks. This makes building a little more difficult as I need the light level to be 15, but I don’t want to have to use a different colored block from my palette to do so. If there was a toggle feature of some sort for the copper bulbs that would fix the issue, it would allow the different bulbs to still retain their original function as it relates to redstone and brightness, however the toggle could change either brightness or redstone output or both as needed. Similar to how using an axe removes the oxidization from copper golems, an axe could “scrape” the oxidization from the glass panes on the bulbs only, leaving the metal oxidized and green but allowing the light level to be 15.
