    You can fit 46,656 items in an Ender chest filled with 27 shulker boxes, each with 27 stacks of 64 items... how much bigger do you need! Mojang added shulkerboxes instead of a double ender chest back in 2016

    I absolutely want to see a double ender chest.
    Not everyone wants to use shulkerboxes to min-max the capacity of a single enderchest, as that will add an extra step in retrieval of any item. Plus shulker boxes are more end game of an item then enderchests.

    I do think a double ender chest would be cool but I just don't see it as necessary enough for Mojang to add

    How would it work, say you fill a double ended chest fully, you then can only access the first half of the items if you open a single chest, I like the idea of a bigger tender chest but the only way it would work is if they added more space in a regular end chest, shulker boxes are the way to go

    This is a good idea but then it would create problems like what if you only place 1 ender chest instead of a late one?
