Currently, the Vibrant Visuals option (shader-like effects) only appears on certain Android devices considered “compatible.” However, many players have proven that it can be manually enabled on other devices by modifying files or installing modded APKs. Even if performance drops, the game still runs correctly.
If Mojang allowed players to enable Vibrant Visuals freely (for example, with a warning like “this option may affect performance”), it would bring several benefits:
Players could choose between performance and visual quality.
It would reduce the use of modded APKs or altered files, since many players only modify the game to unlock this feature.
It would help keep players on the official version instead of leaving because they can’t adjust graphics quality freely.
In short, it’s not about forcing shaders on all devices, but about giving players the freedom to decide whether to use them, even at the cost of lower performance.
