The Gold Golem
Spawn Method:
A mob created using the same method as snow golems, but gold blocks instead of snow blocks.
What it looks like:
It would be a player sized mob that had the same general body structure as a player, but it would have a two pixel deep cavity in the its chest, stylized after Glow Item Frames. (It would not have a pumpkin head(I’m leaving it up to your designers to decide the specifics))
Characteristics:
After spawning, the Gold Golem would stand inert and not interact with anything. You could mine it with an Iron Pickaxe or anything higher level.
If you mined the block below it, it would fall and do the same damage as a falling anvil from that level.
Main Use
Once placed/spawned you could interact with it by using on it any Items that could be mined with a gold tool. Once you did this The golem’s eyes would light up the color of soul fire and the item/block you activated it with would appear in its chest cavity. It then would locate the easiest way to access the Item you used to activate it with. It would travel along that path, avoiding any obvious threats like water, lava, or holes etc…
Once it reached that item/the source block of the item, it would mine it, pick it up, and repeat until it had collected 16 of the item. It then would return to the place where it had been activated last, drop all the items it had collected (including the item you used to animate it with) and return to its inert state.
