Honey cubes spawn near a beehive. It is neutral unless attacked. If attacked, it will transform into a random mob for 10 seconds (while keeping its honey appearance).

- Skeleton – It shoots honey arrows.
- Blaze — It will shoot honey fire but the fire will not burn trees.
- Drown — It has a trident.
- Enderman — It will have honey particles instead of purple particles.
- Creeper — It respawns after exploding.
- Spider
- Bat — It will fly around.
Tamed
Feed it a honey bottle to tame it.
A honeycomb infuser can be made with a honeycomb block and planks. Put a honeycomb and lapis into the block, then select a mob you want it to transform into. Feeding it the honeycomb will transform it into whatever you selected. A normal honeycomb will turn it back.
- Cow – It can be milked to get a bucket of honey which will clear effects.
- Chicken – It will lay honeyballs instead of eggs.
- Sheep – It can be sheared to get honey blocks.
- Horse – It doesn’t need a saddle and it has a built-in inventory as if it has a chest. It will store all the items even if it transforms into a new animal.
- Strider – It doesn’t need a saddle. It could be controlled using a honeycomb on a stick and it can walk on lava.
- Cat – Creepers are afraid of it.
- Wolf – It will defend you like a wolf.

Drops
It drops a honeyball which can be crafted into honey blocks, or brewed into a potion of transformation to disguise as a mob/block. It could also be used to craft honey boots which would let you slide down blocks.
