Hi Mojang Team!
I’d love to suggest a new accessibility feature that would help players with special needs, visual impairments, or focus difficulties — including people like me.
In Minecraft, it can be hard to see where one block ends and another begins, especially for players with eye strain or certain visual processing conditions. Some blocks blend together, and the thin black outlines (or spaces between blocks) can make it difficult to build, mine, or explore.
It would be amazing if Minecraft had an “Outline & Visual Aid Settings” menu for all editions (Java, Bedrock, console, and mobile) that lets players:
Adjust outline thickness or color,
Enable bold or high-contrast visuals,
Highlight interactable blocks like doors, levers, and chests,
Or even apply accessibility filters that improve block visibility and focus.
This would help not just people with special needs or disabilities, but anyone who struggles with lighting, focus, or visual clarity — making Minecraft more inclusive, comfortable, and creative for everyone.
Minecraft is already one of the most inclusive games in the world — this would be a huge next step for accessibility! 💛
