Enable minecarts carrying entities (e.g., mobs, villagers, armor stands) or chests to load chunks as they move, similar to how players or chunk loaders do.

 

🎯 Why This Matters

Currently, minecarts stop functioning properly when they enter unloaded chunks, breaking long-distance transport systems. This limits automation and creativity in survival and technical builds.

Allowing minecarts with entities or chests to load chunks would:

• ✅ Support long-distance villager or mob transport without redstone chunk loaders
• ✅ Enable automated item delivery using chest minecarts
• ✅ Improve rail-based logistics in survival and adventure maps
• ✅ Reduce reliance on glitches or mods for chunk loading

• Chunk loading activates only when:
• A minecart contains a passenger (mob or player), or
• A chest minecart is in motion
• Chunk loading radius could be limited to 1–2 chunks for performance
• Optional gamerule or tag to toggle behavior for advanced control

  I'm always looking for mods to do this job, but most of them comes with several bugs. Revive minecarts to keep using in our world would be nice.
