Hello Mojang Studios Team,
My name is Gabriel, I’m from Brazil, and I’ve been a Minecraft player for a long time. I would like to suggest adding an official Voice Chat feature to Minecraft Bedrock Edition, especially for mobile players.
Minecraft is already an incredible and complete game — players can explore, build, and play together in countless creative ways. However, communication between distant friends using Xbox Live can still be difficult without third-party apps like Discord.
Adding a built-in Voice Chat would make gameplay more immersive and interactive, allowing players to talk directly in-game while keeping the experience safe and family-friendly. Mojang could include privacy settings, parental controls, and voice filters, so players can mute, block, or control who they talk to — ensuring everyone stays safe while playing.
In Java Edition, there’s a community mod called Simple Voice Chat that works perfectly: nearby players can hear each other, creating a realistic and fun multiplayer experience. If an official version were added to Bedrock Edition, it would bring the community closer and make communication much easier.
This feature would also benefit content creators who record or stream with friends, making teamwork and collaboration smoother.
Thank you for reading my idea. Adding an official, safe Voice Chat feature would make Minecraft even more perfect and loved worldwide.
