Currently, projectiles such as wind charges, arrows, ender pearls, etc. have a slight random offset in the direction they are thrown in. You could shoot an arrow with a bow, have it miss a target, shoot without changing the direction you are looking, and it would hit. This can prove frustrating for those who are into combat, technical redstone, and other playstyles that need consistency regarding projectiles.
I think it would be best if this random offset was removed, or at least significantly reduced, for player made projectiles. Projectiles that come from mobs, such as wind charges from breeze mobs or arrows from skeleton variants, seem reasonable and realistic. I'm not sure where to stand about projectiles from dispensers.
This random offset isn't even consistent with all projectiles. Firework rockets, potions, wind charges, and arrows all have different random directional changes.
Reducing or removing this random offset would let players hit targets with arrows/other projectiles more consistently. It need not be perfect, but improved. The random offset currently in place is not realistic and causes needless inconsistency.
