Attaching Banners to Spears!

Imagine yourself traveling the lands of Minecraft with your trusty steed. Days and nights go, but finally you've crafted yourself a spear. A village and its villagers are in need of a hero. Why not identify yourself more proudly than with a custom banner attached to your spear, flying defiantly in the wind? Not only are attaching flags to spears part of true history, but it is a symbol of oneself as they take on the world. In Minecraft, you should be able to take your custom banner and convert it or apply it to your spear. This would give the spear and even more iconic identity compared to the other weapons available. Could you imagine two players jousting on their respective horses, waving their flag proudly in the wind as they ready their spears, dawning their trimmed armor. It would be magical. I certainly would use it. Would you?
