Add 120 fps to IPad Pros!

Hello Mojang team, I’m the owner of the new iPad Pro 2024 with the M4 chip. This device supports a 120Hz ProMotion display, and it’s capable of running even the most demanding games smoothly at this refresh rate. However, in Minecraft, the frame rate seems to be locked at 60 FPS. It feels disappointing to know that such a powerful device can easily handle 120 FPS, yet Minecraft doesn’t take advantage of it. The gameplay feels noticeably less smooth compared to other apps and games that fully support the 120Hz display. I truly believe that adding 120 FPS (ProMotion) support would make a huge difference. It would provide a much smoother and more enjoyable experience, and I’m sure that all iPad Pro users who have 120Hz screens would be extremely happy with this improvement. Many of us would really appreciate this update and enjoy Minecraft even more. Please consider implementing 120 FPS support for iPad Pro devices. It would mean a lot to players who love this game and want to experience it at its best. Thank you for your time and for continuously improving Minecraft.

    Tbh I don’t see a reason not to. Make an option to enable it and put up a warning saying “this may cause screen glitching” would be fine. It is such a waste to not be able to reach 120fps if your device can handle it. Plus Minecraft is not really a demanding game in terms of performance. Set 60 for default and that’s it.
