Suggestion: Combine Elytra with Chestplates in the Smithing Table

Hi Mojang Team, I’ve been playing Minecraft for many years, and it’s truly one of my favorite games of all time. Over the years, I’ve seen so many amazing updates, and I wanted to share an idea that could make the game even better. What if players could combine an Elytra with a Chestplate (for example, in the Smithing Table) using an extra material like a Slimeball, Phantom Membrane, or maybe a new unique item? The result could be a kind of “Reinforced Elytra” or “Elytra Armor” — something that allows gliding while still offering partial armor protection. It wouldn’t have to be too strong; maybe it could have reduced durability or slightly less protection to keep things balanced. I think this would make late-game progression more interesting and give players another cool goal to work toward, without breaking the game’s balance.
