Rose Quartz might provide a compelling and well-balanced overworld alternative to Nether Quartz, enhancing gameplay for both builders and Redstoners rather than just copying it with a different color. It would provide builders with a much-needed pink marble-like block for elegant structures, different from the sterile appearance of regular quartz, if it were discovered as naturally occurring ore, possibly in lush caves or close to copper veins. Rose Quartz might add special features for redstoners, such as a delayed repeater function, which would make it safer to obtain but less effective, allowing early-game devices without requiring a perilous journey to the Nether. This strategy keeps Nether Quartz's position as the best choice while giving Rose Quartz its own purposes, enhancing overworld exploration and resource gathering.
