Telemetry Can't be Turned Off???

Absolutely unacceptable. I just noticed now that Minecraft sends mandatory telemetry with no option to remove it, even when on my solo world and after authentication. Again, absolutely unacceptable. I bought this game before the Microsoft buyout and I want the explicit option to forbid telemetry.
