Minecraft has a lot of blocks, but what if they had more? Why do we need them? Please don't just add lists of things - these will be marked as spam and removed! Also, no furniture, guns, or vertical/"sideways"/"upright"/"standing" slabs (yes, we see you).

Soul sand as fuel

Let us use Soul sand or soul soil (or another soul related block that you could add in for balance purposes if you want) in furnaces as an alternative to fuel.
The soul blocks could be consumed faster but accelerate the smelting of items.

I like the idea of using soul as a primary fuel source for light, why not for industrial mass production?

    Could be cool if you could put something like coal or anything to start smelting and then added soul sand or soul soil to make it smelt twice as much or twice as fast.
