With the addition of Spears incentivizing mounts, it would be neat if players and Zombies(!) could ride Goats. Their charge mechanic lends itself to the Spear's speed-based damage, and conversely, their high jumps could pair well with the Mace.
(This can be a more accessible, but weaker alternative to Wind Charge jumping—your goat may have infinite jumps, but it can die.)
You could even use a Fishing Rod, jump up, and pull entities into the air!
Goats would also have use outside of combat, since they can scale mountains and cross gaps easier than other mounts—great for exploring uneven terrain, without having to pillar up or climb with water.
Goat Armor and taming could also be introduced.
