Full Description:
Imagine being able to reinforce and customize your world with metal coatings — a new system where players use Minecraft’s metals (iron, gold, copper, diamond, netherite, and even future materials) to enhance blocks, tools, and even mobs with both visual and functional upgrades.
---
🔧 How It Works
A new block: The Coating Station
Crafted with 1 Anvil + 4 Iron Blocks + 2 Obsidian
Combine any item/block + a metal ingot + XP to apply a metallic coating.
Each metal gives unique properties:
Iron: increases blast resistance.
Gold: adds glow and mining luck.
Copper: oxidizes over time (color changes).
Diamond: boosts durability and shine.
Netherite: makes items fireproof and lava-resistant.
---
🤖 Special Applications
Metal-Coated Iron Golem
Golems can be coated to gain new appearances and abilities:
Gold: faster regeneration.
Copper: visual oxidation over time.
Netherite: immune to fire, deals more damage.
Netherite-Coated Boat
A boat that can sail on lava in the Nether!
Fireproof, lava-resistant, with a metallic texture and sound.
Opens the door for true Nether exploration without relying on Striders.
