Minecraft has a lot of blocks, but what if they had more? Why do we need them? Please don't just add lists of things - these will be marked as spam and removed! Also, no furniture, guns, or vertical/"sideways"/"upright"/"standing" slabs (yes, we see you).

Magnetic blocks

Dear Sir or Madam, I’m a fan of the video game Minecraft and I’m writing to you to offer an idea for the next update. You could add magnetic blocks that attract one way and move away from the other if they are two blocks apart. These could be crafted by using three redstone powder diagonally on the crafting grid and filling the rest with iron ingots. They would be useful for crushing hostile creatures located between the two magnets and for creating all kinds of systems. I hope this helps. Thank for your reading. Ryann C-J

    Kind of like wireless pistons. I won't lie, that would probably be too much for minecraft to handle, because unlike pistons that move blocks in one direction, magnets would affect multiple directions and cause a mess in game unless you have a good pc. 

    However, they could instead be added to affect entities and items. Iron golems, or entities wearing iron armor would be pulled towards it.
