I have an exciting idea for a moorlands biome which consists of barren grassy plains that grow new plants - the gorse bush - a prickly plant that flowers and is edible to horses.
- Also a new plant that the moorlands introduces is heather a purple or pink evergreen shrub - useful for dyes and decorative uses.
- This biome could introduce a new hostile mob, the Briar, a creature that disguises itself as gorse bushes and attacks the players with thorns that shoot from their spikes.
- Additionally the moorlands would host a habitat for lizards, friendly mobs that the player can tame. Lizards would benefit the player by shedding their scales which would be used to craft decorative plate blocks, these are magical mosaic tiles bringing new decorating options for players. These tiles can be made into; Slabs, full blocks, stairs and walls.
