Air combat is empty

we don't have a specific weapon to use with elytra. spear and mace are not specifically for elytra and are moue used on ground. for ocean we have trident and ground combat is regularly updated but air combat is not updated after elytra. we need a new weapon for air combat and a new hostile mob that do not come to ground like phantom and we have to fight it in air. yes, we can use spear with elytra but its hard to aim and requires skill. riptide tridents can only be used in water or during rain. using mace is even harder than spear as if we miss once we can die. bows and crossbows are hard to aim while flying as we have to control both elytra and aim. a weapon may be to add but a new hostile mob in sky is a necessary addition as only one we have is phantom and we have to wait long for it to spawn and still it is not worth to fight except for phantom membrane to repair elytra and that is also useless as we have mending.

    The spear is better with elytra than with anything else. Mace can be used while falling to damage anything that comes to you mid air. Tridents can be used with riptide to fly around. Bows and Crossbows can be used to fight flying players and entities. There's a lot of air combat in the game and with the new spear it'll probably be the new meta. What are you talking about?
