As a long-time Minecraft player and a current Bedrock Realm subscriber, I would like to share some feedback regarding the lack of Bedrock Edition support on macOS.
Although I am fully capable of running and maintaining my own server, I chose to pay for a Bedrock Realm because of the convenience it offers. However, as someone who travels often and uses macOS as a primary system, I find it increasingly frustrating to have to switch back to Windows just to play Bedrock Edition. This limitation is beginning to outweigh the value of the subscription.
I understand that there may be internal reasons for not supporting macOS, but given that Bedrock is already available on iOS, it is clearly technically feasible. The decision to exclude macOS appears deliberate, and it unfortunately pushes users like me to consider canceling our subscriptions in favor of self-hosted solutions with cross-platform plugins.
Recurring revenue from subscriptions is often highly valued, and it seems like an untapped opportunity to expand that model by supporting additional platforms.
I sincerely hope the team will consider revisiting this decision in the future. Your ongoing commitment to improving Minecraft is greatly appreciated.
